Apparently they are talking with Unite (The Managers Union) and CWU sponsored MPs. Basically they are just starting to kick off the Political side of the campaign.

I just hope they keep us informed through LTB and work time briefings, otherwise the support will start to ebb away.

Also moved to pensions forum as its not really a news item.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

like the last round of talks that the union had with royal mail ..................
no one will tell us what is going on............
union web site still stating news from last week...

CWU in the news, Wednesday 2nd April
CWU has featured prominently in today’s papers (Wednesday) with stories regarding postal workers rejecting Royal Mail’s pension changes. ...more

about time they kept us informed with what is happening........so stopping chinese whispers as to what is going on
after all it is us they are supposed to be representing

Anyone have any news on the pension issue ??
Or are the cwu hoping if they don`t say anything for long enough that we`ll
forget about it ??
THE LACK OF INFORMATION FROM THE CWU IS f***ing STAGGERING !!
It`s scandelous that something as big as the pension problem and we don`t hear
f**k all.
I know that they were sorting out some sort of two pronged attack with UNITE ....
but how long does it take ....it`s been 2 weeks and nothing,
and we`re all paying into this 2 bob outfit !!

Would any rational member go into battle believing, the so called managers that make up UNITE, would not at the first opportunity raise up the white flag?.
