Trial offices
Is anyone here at a 'trial office' ?
We have been told there are many around the country and that they are all trialing different things. Is this true?
We are supposed to take 10% of a another walk every day of the year. Who preps them hasn't been decided yet.
Why they don't just make the jobs 10% bigger is beyond me?
What is being trialed in your office?

Trials of life.......
.......We have had a trial at our office - we have all been found guilty of enjoying our jobs and sentenced to a lifetime of misery in a business that can't make it's mind up about what it wants. We can get a reduced sentence if we give up half our wages, half our pension and all of our self respect. I think I'll serve my time and be a difficult prisoner
We wish to serve - but we will not be servile

Not sure but my delivery office do them. DOM will chat to me tomorrow. I think it is probably covering for sick postman for free. :( But we had cut in PHG and 2 postman retired, one left his job, 2 new rookie postperson, and ex night staff/phg moved to post delivery service and one manager move delivery office. Only thing I noticed is too much time spend on IPS :( due to lost of night staff.

Prisoners get more respect than we do.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The trials come later, phase 3 everyone needs to get 1 and 2 signed off first,as far as i know there still on but not as soon as the business wanted.Spedley wrote:The trials were called off in our office.
Rumour has it that the trials have been cancelled and they are just going to implement the changes without any trials.
Has anyone else heard this rumour or can you confirm it as fact?
