Not made up to 35 hours for xmas

Was expecting to be made up for Xmas but manager didn't update psp in time?
Anything I can do?

Sorry not an actual answer to what you can do but presumably if the extra works offered you can do overtime, the shitter about that which always annoyed me before I got full time was you got shafted with the Christmas bonus paid pro rata, I suppose another minor point is if you regularly qualify for the holiday pay payment thing then being made up for a month might have meant you didn't qualify for a 6 month period, just guessing here as obviously I don't know your contract hours.

How does one know if they have indeed been made up to 35/37 hours for X-mas? Other than taking the manager’s word for it? Keen to avoid any nasty surprises come the monthly pay day….

huh? the christmas period has already started, so if you were coming in to do a 30 hour week, but your manager is paying you for 35 then surely they'd realise.

My question is more about the fact that I am coming in to do a 37 hour week i.e. starting 1 hour 24 minutes earlier but not wanting to find out too late that I'm only getting paid for 30-hour week. So far I only have the manager's word that I've been made up to 37 hours FWIW.

Yuou need to sign the O/T docket every day for 1 hour 24 minutes to make sure

That’s the thing - ever since I started a few months ago I’ve never been asked to sign a docket for overtime. Besides - if I have indeed been made up to 37-hours from previous 30, is that still considered overtime?

Yes of course it is considered as overtime, unless you have been given a new contract of employment for a 37 hour per week job

If you've been made up then no it isn't overtime, I can't remember if you should get a temporary change of contract in the post or not, someone on here must know.
