Business Post next day balls-up

Post by mh80 »

I ordered some stuff online, paid 5.99 for next day delivery on the 27th. 2 days later nothing.
Today 1st of April I email the shop, they say it's been dispatched, here's your consignment number.
Go to Business Post's website - "Address not known".
:arrrghhh It's not a hard place to find at all!
They've got the Postcode and the house number. Had my phone number but didn't ring so the parcel would have been stuck there. Either had the choice of driving 10 miles to the depot, or waiting ages. An example of why competition is s**t for everyone but the fat cats! Anyway, rant over!

It makes my day when customers come in with the 'competitions' cards, I love telling them its nothing to do with us and they have to travel up to 15 miles to go and collect there item :Very Happy
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Had one on delivery today, the nice lady had paid £10 extra for special delivery. It came via City Link while she was out inviting her to go to a depot about 25 miles away! :confused
