thinkabout what you are saying here everytime royal mail fling couple of pound at us most hungry feckers just want to grab it then moan later what a shite deal this is on average year you ll get bout £1300 in doortodoor payments anyway so after the 2 years the people who plan to stay working as a postie are in the shite

Yea, dont be panic, it is probably just a rumour, i can only see royal mail not wanting to pay us anything at all for door to doors.

I trust this will be £2000 for each address we currently deliver Door To Doors to.

No more than 5 dtd items per week and all pre wrapped per address as a promotional/advertising package delivered to us by the saturday before delivery is due - if they are late we get paid at the present rate in addition to the payoff fee.

Assuming everyone on delivery gets a payment then the rotation men and part walk summer lapse cover do their share as well.

With our database and other facilities it should be no problem to package the door to doors for each address (with or without specific customer names) and indicate on the package that they are a royal mail delivery to differentiate from the waste paper that the other agencies leave everywhere. Also you can't dump addressed mail and get away with it.

Anything that won't fit an A4 envelope should be charged and paid extra.

Deliverable over 6 days to lighten the impact of the obviously heavier envelopes.

My D2D'S are about £25.00 a week on average x50 weeks =£1250.00 a difference of £750.00.

So,and i realise this is only a rumour and it's good fun to summise and watnot,but to sell my soul for £2k than after say a year and a half EVERY D2D that i do is unpayed for does not make good sense in my book.
Plus i will loose £1250.00+ a year.

Or have i completley missread your post.

Mine also average about £21 per week - but I am looking at the inevitability of change and proposing the best settlement I could foresee at this time short of a basic increase in pay which will NOT be £1000+ per annum and for which they would require unlimited deliveries. For a one off payment we could expect a one off agreement with any changes forcing a renegotiation. Note that I also suggested a lot of the prep work such as enveloping and addressing be done for us thereby ensuring additional mail volumes to justify jobs. As you said - it's good fun to surmise but I would, like you, not be willing to sell my soul for £2000 with no guarantee of it being cared for by the devils we work for - I would however, rent it with an inflation proof agreement. (signed in blood is also a requirement of the deal lol)

5p for three leaflets to 400 properties = £20 a week = £1,000 a year for 20 years till retirement = £20,000.
Are they really just offering ONE TENTH of that ?

My round must be a biggy - I average £30 to £35 depending on size of D2Ds. With 3 at 1.67p I get just under £30.
