Parcel Volumes
As a Parcel Force worker, are you ever told the parcel volumes that PF delivers? Or are the numbers always lumped together with RM as a whole?

Re: Parcel Volumes
You care so little, that you took time out of your busy schedule of caring about other stuff, to respond. Feeling blessed.

Because this is a forum where you can discuss things. It wouldn't be a good resource for anyone else if we just discussed things that were important to you, but no one else.

Re: Parcel Volumes
I was speaking to a local PF driver and he suggested volume were well down on his route to the extent it was hardly worthwhile delivering them, meanwhile our volume doesn't seem to have dropped at all since peak. We also seem to be delivering more PF sized parcels.

Re: Parcel Volumes
they were not locked by me but I agree with decision to do so. One thread descended into name calling and the other similar thread was likely to do - it also was not specifically to do with RM or the CWU but more generalised and likely to cause exactly the same issues.
Also as I didn't lock them, there is one more reason Postman locked them because he owns the site and looks at the overall site and if he thinks it could harm the site he has every right to lock or delete whatever he wants. After all he pays the bills for the running of the site so quite rightly he has the final decision.
I am an Admin/Moderator who looks for people breaking the rules and I try to apply them equally and fairly. No one will agree with every decision I make but I have a thick skin.
You can if you do not like the ethos of this board, or disagree with our decisions can easily set up a rival forum perhaps you could call it PostmanChat but that domain may still be registered to someone else.

Re: Parcel Volumes
Further to my original query: either PF don’t frequent this place or those that do don’t know.

Davie said in this video what the figures were, I don't recall exactly when he said it, but it was around 300 million a year back during the pandemic, down to around 60 million now. So pretty significant.

Re: Parcel Volumes
So those numbers are buried within the RM parcel volume numbers, because in the financial report that they make publicly available, there is no separate section relating to Parcel Force. Which is really weird given their obsession with parcels.datasaint wrote: ↑28 Aug 2024, 21:58Correction it was 100m down to 75m, managed to find it on the video.Barnacle wrote: ↑27 Aug 2024, 05:46Thank you.
