RMCtv : Looking ahead with hope - We are already achieving together - As we approach the end of the financial year, an opportunity to reflect on the last 12 months

Post by POSTMAN »

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

This lot remind me of The Clangers & the soup dragon.
Must be living on another planet if they believe their own crap!
How the hell can they spin this as a success story!
It’s a failing company!

It's been a great 12 months, from failure to failure.
Our terms and conditions are s**t, our duties are unachievable, people have left in droves to be unrelated.
We do have a lot of bright shining managers though. Arse and elbow spring to mind.

+ we are ripping off the customer by increasing our prices but not offering the service they paid for as we don't want to recruit and pay for the staff to deliver your mail.

Achieving together? Ha ha ha. Funniest thing I've heard in months. All I see, is an unscrupulous, deceitful company, that bullies and intimidates its employees and defrauds it's customers. The bull and lies that come from top brass is never ending. Give it up. Your workforce is not on board with you. Our customers despise us. As one said to me recently " I only still use RM because they're the least sh*t of the delivery companies "

They didn’t specify who is achieving what together, I think they meant the union and the company are achieving the aim together of making this the most miserable place to work , with unsustainable workloads amid worsening terms and conditions, morale so low you need a submarine to find it , so in that respect they’ve achieved a lot together. Onward and er, downward!

Under "INNOVATING" the video shows "York sleeves Engineered"
My experience of these cortex sleeves is that a high percentage are daily being taken out of service because they are damaged. Also they cannot retain certain items. Perhaps a video could be shown to highlight these defects & how time is lost on constantly removing defective Yorks which are not functional.
