Hi Guys, could anyone help me with this please? If someone is on long term sick due to depression and has a holiday booked abroad in the middle of the sick what happens? Do you have to come off the sick? Then go back on it after you took you holiday? I thought it might have been a part of recuperating to get right.
And what pay would you get?

Re: On long term sick.
It would depend on the cause of the absence, the advise of your doctor and the understanding nature of your manager.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: On long term sick.
You are permitted to be wherever including abroad while signed off sick by your GP and you annual leave in cancelled. I was signed off last year from May to end of October and this is exactly how it was for me.
Don’t let them bully you into thinking anything else.
If they do, get Acas and the union involved, that will soon shut them up
