disability

Post by leiwolf »

I have recently did a presentation for another firm regarding disability, they seem quite impressed and asked me to come back for another one.

Was thinking, would royal mail be intrested in people like me giving talks regarding disability and how certain disabilities affect us and the way we do our job. Would it help people to understand and maybe get the manager to enable us to do the job

If so, how do I go about doing stuff like this,ie going round different offices and talking about autism, aspergus, adhd, tourette and so forth?

Also applied to be a socially carer so good luck with that

Still no news on the special either sigh,

only interested in parroting out superficial spin and hype for the naive and gullible , RM would love to remove protection and will do anything to move the goalposts as we all know .

I would approach the Human Rescources department at Old Street in London as they are the ones who would probably organize things like that.

With all due respect,I have only just got over that last talk on diversity we had about 3 or 4 years ago,we got lectured on being racially aware then sent out to deliver leaflets for the BNP FFS .Its only common sense and decency to respect all workers and treat them fairly whether they are disabled,or what ever colour or creed they are.

best RM example was a black casual guy at PDO Sth being sent out delivering BNP leaflets when everything was going tits up with SDD , RM surpassed themselves with their usual irony deficit,

I completely agree, its as bad as using a Asian corner shop as a bag drop and handing him a BNP asswipe leaflet with his mail,I complained about this at the diversity meeting and was told that the BNP was not a racist party, round about the same time the FBU were blacklisting them

RM always know best eh ? ,so the BNP are just a nationalistic , patriotic party , obviously we've been all imagining things re anti semitism and a strong encouragement for repatriation .

I suppose documentaries like 2005's The Secret Agent are distorted and sensationalized too WTF ? , just a bunch of guys who like lager and a punch up eh !
