Does anybody have any idea how many of these you would reasonably be required to attend over a 6 month period of absence?
Would being asked to go for a third time seem excessive? The last one was 2 months ago.

Re: OH assessments
That does sound a bit extreme. BUT...
everyone's situation is different, if further information is available it wouldn't necessarily be unreasonable for a manager to want that to be assessed with regards to the possiblity of safely returning an employee to work.
A new or change of diagnosis, treatments and prognosis from specialists could make a previous assessment effectively null and void.
As it was a general question, this can only be a general answer.
Best bet for a specific answer to a specific situation would be to email the manager in question and request the reasoning behind the repeated referrals.
In fact the referral requires the names of two line managers AND some higher up RM bod in HR before it goes to the OH company. Request that information, in writing (!), from all three

Thanks for replying to my post. I can confirm that nothing has changed with me since 2 months ago (other than getting worse from dealing with RM).
Any idea how I go about getting this managers email address?

Re: OH assessments
RM email addresses follow the same pattern, typically:
Firstname.lastname@royalmail.com
Of course there are variations for where multiple people in the company have the same name, like a middle initial or numbers on the end.
Best bet would be to have a quick dig around on the Workplace app, we all have a profile whether we want to use it or not. And last time I was on there (6 months+ago) our company email addresses were listed there too, yup we all have one of those too...nevermind the fact that 90% of staff don't have access to a RM computer and the intranet to see them
