Why are people being deducted annual leave this “season” when it was meant have been waived this year ?

Ans why are they deducting anything at all ? Because surely it would have to added back in the summer ?

Absolute shithouses , they have taken 4 hours off me for my 2 weeks leave in the winter period,it should of been waived until April,this is what you get for voting yes the cwu are working in conjunction with royal mail,if i knew this was coming in last year i would of took all my leave in the summer now i have less leave than others who have already taken theirs.

That's a good point, I've also had 4 hours deducted for 2 weeks I've got booked in Oct + Nov, mind you due to the leave system being so f***ing inflexible I've got leave that I've built up from BH lieu days that it's practically impossible to take.

The holiday deductions are based on the planned hours which is now 39hrs for some weeks to during them weeks it'll deduct 39 hours. During the "low season" weeks in the summer the planned hours will be 35hrs so it'll deduct 35hrs for them weeks. The rest of the weeks the planned hours will be 37 so it'll deduct 37hrs for them weeks

but they also said any pre booked leave would be kept at the 37hr week (pro rata) until the next years leave is allocated so you would actually gain on any leave taken from now to week before xmas, it may reset back after complaints, but i've already lost a few hours of my upcoming leave on the app

They'll need to manually adjust it somehow, otherwise it won't be kept at 37hrs

The system resets in April though so you never get a chance for these hours to flex back

Yeh But when you knock off you get more time off personally I like the 1st or 2nd week in December, get all our christmas shopping done. A trip to Meadowhall even had a day in London at the winter wonderland, look how they treat us, you know it makes sense
