More than there should be. Booted back down to reserve and getting every Tuesday as a day off.

To stave off any comments: yes, I complained about reserve colleagues getting shafted out of their 1 in 6 even while I was a duty holder and getting my long weekends. To borrow a line from Tony Benn, 'the company would treat you like a new start if they thought they could get away with it'.
The machine stops.

If I'm reading correctly and you don't mean Sundays? Then the amount working Saturdays is the same as any other day of the week. assuming 1 in 6 is a normal working week for most of us.

That's no different from failing 1C. Apart from D2D anything that arrives at a DO is due for delivery that day

It's a normal day for me, I sort it all and leave most of it in. Lucky to clear half a frame on Saturday... But the tracked get done.

we have failed everyday for well over 6 years ,there is no such thing as a walk or round these days its just a frame you throw mail into we never ever walk the whole thing, there is no such thing as a USO in our office hasn't been for years. :chuckle :chuckle

It may well be "due" for delivery that day, but until RM start recruiting enough staff in DOs and also recognise that their stupid revisions have made the rounds too big for the staff that are in place, then the word "due" is an unobtainable ambition. We've been leaving "due" mail in at my office because of understaffing well before RM joyously embraced Covid as a convenient excuse to run down services.

I am aware that other posters on this site seem have a different experience and that their offices clear easily every day and that the volumes of mail are ridiculously low etc, but that isn't the case where I work.

Morale in our office has dropped off a cliff ever since they introduced the revisions as it has been designed to fail. All it has done has made things worse because you always get some staff who come in even earlier and rush round trying to complete; whilst others who clearly won't will never get their walks done unless the managers offload their work on to someone else on overtime.

Trying to remind staff that they are chasing their own tail by rushing round falls on deaf ears especially as some of them are now working their day off but only on their own round so their duty is clear.
On the face of it, shareholder value is the dumbest idea in the world.
