Now I am in the dark as well but when I asked rep was told its still a secret ballot so I imagine it will be something like a Local or General Election.

But dont you find that scarey! Is this more fobbing and time wasting by our elected HQ reps for something such as this?

Agreed and open to abuse by management and intimidation of the union rep and his offical's!. For it is to be held along the same line's as the counsulitve ballot on the pay offer and working non agreement of last year before the proper ballot!. You know the one £600 quid and a bigger shafting than we will get now ( PAY AND AND MODERNIZATION AGREEMENT)!. FOR I SAY THIS WE CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE THIS BALLOT AND WHY IN GOD'S NAME IS THIS NOT TO BE SENT TO ALL OUR HOME'S?!.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Unlikely I hope K979aaa as the CantManageAssociation are having a ballot at roughly the same time, for the same reason, and with the same recommendation of "Vote to reject".

It is not the first time a DOM has been after me and ripped all union literature off all the union board's!. FOR YOU ALL DO NOT HAVE TO BE A UNION REP OR AN UNION OFFICAL!. FOR THEY FIGHT FOR YOU SO SHOULD FIGHT FOR THEM AND GIVE THEM YOUR BACKING!. FOR WE ALL HAVE A PART TO PLAY!.

Dear Colleague,

RE: Pension Consultative Ballot

Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to revise the ballot timetable. The amended timetable is as follows:

Ballot opens 10th March 2008
Ballot closes 25th March 2008
Result declared 26th March 2008

Branches will receive the guidelines for the ballot by the end of the week.

Yours sincerely

Yep delayed,post in News Forum.

ROYAL MAIL PENSION REFORM PROPOSALS – CWU CONSULTATIVE BALLOT

It has been brought to our attention that the distribution of the ‘CWU Consultative Ballot’ paper to Branches has been delayed. This is as a result of problems outside the control of the Union and Parcelforce have informed us that the difficulty has now been rectified.

As a consequence it has been agree to put the closing date of the ballot back to 12.00 midday Monday 31st March 2008.
