WHERE ARE THE RULES????????????????????????
There are agreements that have been made between RM and the union, all of them are on the CWU website,i think you have to be a member to access them.
Most of us on here know a bit about it all, some know everything.
If you have a problem just ask and we'll help you out.

RM Managers conveniently forget the rules and agreements at times, and while some slag of the union, without these agreements the job would be completly different and a hell of a lot worse.

Without starting another row,you slag off the union, but you now want what they have done handed to you on a plate.
This site is NOT a union members only site before you start that, and we are more than happy to help you,but lets be honest,it's a bit rich of you askin yeah!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

in correct postie....i dont care what the rules are i just want to know what they are?and lets be completly honest the union bargining this for that is what makes it so complicated....no universal standard ,local agreements .i very much doubt one person knows all ..and yet again the only way to find out for sure is to join the union ..suprise suprise...so there not doing it for the good off the job but for there balance sheets..

why wouldnt it be free access to all???it doesnt take up any more web pages

ranting again ,when will i accept their just fat cats like the rest

thanks for your help before the telling off though postie..
:funneh :funneh

At the very worst the Union is the lesser of the two evils .We "fanatics" are under no illusions about the CWU , playing politics , it's donations and affiliation to New Labour . Major promised Tax Cuts in 92 , they did well LOL , if in doubt ask your LM LMAO

These Tory Posties always make me laugh , they can always go somewhere else if they believe in all that corporate , market , free enterprise stuff so much . But no , it's always the union's fault nothing to do with poor management of course . Everything and Everybody is in the wrong and it all has to suddenly change . :funneh :funneh :funneh :funneh :funneh :funneh

Why dont you buy yourself a few beers, settle down for the night and browse through the way forward and SDD aggrements.

You mention Unions and politics, unions have been political for over 100 years, however very few unions have a political fund.

Every 10 years those with a PF have to reballot the membership on whether to retain the PF, what a waste of our money that is, whose idea was that your beloved conservatives! The recomendations into PP funding reform propose scrapping this, would you support that as long as unions have a clear, easy to understand and accesible policy on opting out of a PF?

Not once has a union membership voted to scrap a PF!

like TBT said everything is politics and the Tory idea was to make things purposefully difficult for the Unions . Unison's political campaigning is excellent , though there's people who'd have staff in the service sector/ Council / NHS working for £2 ph + benefits and no union representation if it was up to them.
