Hayes and Ward, time to go!!!!!

Post by edinburghsteve »

Once again this union has let us down "consultation ballot", i'm sure RM are shaking in their boots. Hayes and Ward should stop playing with our pension. Most members think its scandalous whats happening to their pension and proper action is needed. Clearly RM has no intention of maintaining our pension so we should start the collapse of RM.

Lets create utter chaos???

1) Strike action - Send customers to our rivals. Why RM don't deserve these customers who continualous are getting a third-rate service.
2) Work to rule, no cars, one bag out only, take lunch breaks etc.
3) 20% d-d each day, maintain their agreement. Make sure your relief does his share too..

Maybe this is drastic and will probably cause pain, but to you fancy working till your 68, carrying a bag till your drop dead. RM decide to sack your for incompetence.

BRING RM DOWN!!!!!!!! GET RID OF WARD AND HAYES.

edinburghsteve i know your angry and upset mate but its not the union who are changing the pension scheme so i dont think we can really blame Billy and Dave for this one.We have to carry out the consultation ballot and take it from there.Battle plans will be drawn up and the next few weeks/months will be decisive as to where the future of our pensions lie.
Sending customers to our rivals is not the answer. If we have no work we have no money coming in so we wont need staff.
We should be doing the job properly anyway. The union(Bob Gibson)have been campaigning for this since the strike last year.with good results.
Again D2D should be done as the national agreement, fact is most Posties DONT want to do them.Ive heard that we are gonna loose them soon anyway as to much compensation(£50million) is being paid out.
Its the goverment, postcon, postwatch and the rest of the fools not Billy and Dave who are killing Royal Mail.

Billy and Dave decoupled the pensions from last years pay negotiations so thereby allowing Al and Ad the screw us (along with those who voted YES and believed what they were being told).

I don't think many people will be sad to see d-t-d go. Actually Dave and Billy are to blame.
Weren't they responsable for the deal going through.

1) Hour at work changing all the time
2) Pension consultation, totally sham everyone told them this would happen.
3) Days wages lost for nothing. Did Billy and Dave lose wages????
4) Flexiblity - More part-time workers.

Dave and Billy are to blame.

Edinburghsteve you are 100% right. We had Royal Mail by the balls during the strike only for the union to send us back to work on the promise of fresh talks and a better deal. However they bottled it and agreed to each individual office to have their own local agreement on flexability, early Saturdays etc. So the union has no unity no togetherness we're basically on our own. If you have a shite union rep in your office you've had it. You only have to look at many of the chat forums on this site to see how offices have been hung out to dry with ridiculous local agreements i.e working a day for free!!!!!!! At this crucial time within Royal Mail we needed a union to fight for national agreements so that we are altogether fighting as one not divided. Billy and Dave need to F*** OFF.

Its the 'reformation' of postal services in Europe thats killing royal Mail - that and no referendum. This is why we're losing this battle and why we will continue to do so.

So if that is the case why are we the only fully liberalized postal market in the european union?. And while i agree we should have a referendum as that was what was upon a time promised!. JUST LIKE OUR PENSION!. MORE LIES DAMN LIES AND NEW LABOUR=TORY!.

Three activists A. Erlam, I. Lidbetter and R. Webb are within striking distance of national success following LANDSLIDE VICTORIES in regional elections.
All are standing on a platform criticising, "the secretive practices, hidden election results and restrictive rules and regs. of UNITE"
Mr Erlam is furious about what he sees as "the closing down of democracy and transparency in the union"
"there is no discussion, the TGWU is about as democratic as the Freemasons and it's now time for political change"
"The UNITE union leaders increasingly make important decisions such as supporting Gordon Brown behind closed doors"

Actually D2D isnt going anywhere , its just the payment that RM are looking to lose. As long as we get paid for them i dont have a problem with doing them. as it will get to the stage that they are just about the only OT available. Unfortunatly i fear the walk sequencers may be able to prep them in with our work and we will end up doing them for sweet FA.

The only thing I can agree on is wasting time or money on getting these clowns their coats and getting them Taxis. As Tommo said , put them on Posties bikes and let them see what they've done to the job with their crap underhand deals .

Bloody well said! :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause
Geoffrey Howe did one no confidence speech in the Commons which sparked off the coup to get rid of Baroness Barmy , somebody might do that at Conference , he/ she /them might get bundled out of the Hall New Labour Style by the Stewards /Security , it might get dismissed by the Union NEC as too extreme / militant or it could create shockwaves .

Hayes only got to DGS by making tub thumping speeches about Copperas Hill , Liverpool being closed and the work being moved to Warrington as he'd the backing of a large branch and not being Keggie .

I've seen this happen with another union , in that case the membership got rid of the old "corrupt " right guard but with the CWU , Billy Bunter & Frank Butcher are neither one thing or the other at the very best , at the worst it's Johnson & Keggie Mk2 . A ship without a rudder , the old guard wouldn't have gone for more deals than B&Q with what are basically sales people with no scruples .

Unfortunately he's been found out as a Conman out of his depth , RM's Senior Managers were divided during the dispute and as much as I deplore their duplicity and underhand methods, they were running rings round Hayes .RM's Pet Site, PMC & Hellmail were bragging about it in their thread starter pieces . .
As IWW said he sounds he's been in and got chucked out of a Lime St pub , brilliant PR !

The kindest thing that can be said about Ward that he was allegedly threatened by Brown( Brown's under scrutiny as a New PM and he has to save face with his arm's length attack dogs and the muddled thinking balls up like PPP , PFI , Metronet , IT contracts and the Dome ) and with the dodgy RM court action , he was frightened of it turning it into a McGregor /Thatcher V Scargill scenario , the tactics and strategy left a lot to be desired and RM knew it as RM were spoiling for the fight , they'd plotted for .

Hayes is alleged to have threatened No & Abstain Voters on the PEC , better off with somebody with a bit more upstairs to deal with RM's devious to the point of being neurotic Senior Management and Board like Jeannie Drake .

Problem is Johnson might have neutralized her , Billy Bunter is a good s*** stirrer , nothing else , limited .

Their bluff was called , people got too strike weary in that Mexican Standoff , rolling strikes were a good idea , the others fall into the RM starve back to work trap.

Local Agreements just make Reps vulnerable to bullying managers , RM didn't try and run the union out of Burslem and other Offices for nothing with frivolous use of H&B. Screwed up big time there , divide and conquer .

Surely someone has to have the balls to put in a vote of no confidence at the next conference, and most people will back them calling it. But you never know.

HAYES MUST GO, HAYES MUST GO, HAYES MUST GO........closely followed by WARD.
