I don't know where to turn

I have have been accused of Bullying and Harassment by a group of 5 people although there are no independent witness to the alleged events. I have been the victim of B&H, I am the victim of malicious complaints and have a spotless 10 year work record with RM. I was suspended in December for 2 weeks and now I have been moved to another office. I have no copies of the claims made against me or statements made by anyone although I have asked for them. I was told by the Dom that did the investigation I have been moved permanently to this new office but that it is down to my line manager to make the final decision as to my punishment. I'm still waiting for that decision entering into the 9th week. I'm finding this very stressful as I don't know if my job is safe and my Union Rep can't lodge an appeal until the decision is made which was supposed to be this week. Now I have been living with this with difficulty and am on prescribed medication for the stress it is causing me.
Now I go into work this morning and am suspended yet again for a customer complaint regarding the delivery of a recorded item. As a result of this I'm told that the decision on the first alleged incident will not be made until this is dealt as this newer complaint takes precedent.
I could deal with this but my wife and I are very near the end of the adoption process and if I lose my job I will lose the adoption as it is dependant on me taking adoption leave and being in secure employment. I feel like my only chance of having kids and a family is being snatched from me, I don't know what to do or where to turn, I'm trapped and really don't think I can take much more. I can't leave RM as the adoption will be lost.
I not asking for sympathy I just want to know where I can turn for some help and support, someone to talk to. Can I approach the B&H helpline or will doing that just get me into deeper trouble?

My first thought would be to send an e mail to the legal department of the union to ask for clarification on the legal side of your adoption problem.
My second thought would be to contact the area rep for some paperwork from both cases in order to mount a defence.
My third thought would be citizens advice.
Finally in our area there are free solicitor evenings where you get an initial consultation gratis - it would be helpful if you could provide some paperwork to explain the situation - if not prepare your own written account of what has transpired and what you feel is your ideal aim.

My mate approached the B&H helpline once and found them to be very helpful, and no, you will not be in deeper trouble, thats what its there for.

Unless you're in my area where the DSM denies ALL B&H complaints and then you end up on the conduct code (which is why he have the fewest B&H complaints in RM but the highest number on the HYS)

First off..... U say u aint asking for sympathy... ok...I for one Think... U should be treated fairly..... FAIR AND JUST.... AND WITH SYMPATHY......

Now i had a case against RM and They done all they could to cause me grief... IN MY OPINION.....

Now i know ur case is hard to take.. But i tell ya mate... Get on to the ATOS help line and let them know EVERYTHING... Its confidential and it does help....

I got my job back with there help....

Get your DR or any other medical help u can.... Dont hold back mate....

Just cover your arse with people who you trust...

The info on your case.. As it is Against you... You can demand all the evidence to be seen.. And by law... You can ask the DATA PROTECTION for all or any info on your record while working for RM.....

THIS IS IMPORTANT.... RM in my opinion lie......

The B&H help line has to help you and it can only do some good....

I hope it all comes out your way and all in dealings with this case is not bothered or stressed anymore....

Thanks for the support lads, the only paper work I have is the original letter of complaint from one person (who broke the picket during the IA) accusing me of barging past him on a daily basis but there were no witnesses as it did not happen. The Dom used this as an excuse to suspend me move me out of my office to another and lead an investigation. This in itself is costing me £30 a week in fuel.
As well as the complaint letter I have a summary of the Doms findings. But that is it. nothing else, no copies of interviews or written statements. My rep has asked for them but nothing has been forthcoming.
I'm a bit nervous of posting anymore detail as I worried about more action from the management if they trace this to me.
I have written my own account and a reply to the Doms findings so I have a record on my side of it. The Doms findings are so ridiculous and outrageous it would be funny if it wasn't my life in the mincer.
I just can't believe this is happening to me, I've always been a decent hard working postie, never been late just got on with the job.
I had a break down at work a month ago because I felt that I was being hounded by the managers, the Dom covered my duty and did look after me on that day and I pulled myself around. But now I'm at a loss as what to do, I feel like I'm in a very dark place and sometimes don't know if I can really carry on as I and my wife are still being harassed by the person who took out the compliant against me at the beginning. I'm in an emotional and physical mess when I'm 4 weeks away from getting my kids which should be the happiest time of my life. After this latest suspension I feel like going to sleep and never waking up.
I'll have a cup of coffee and ring the B&H helpline today and try and speak to my area rep, I saw my Doctor on Monday but may well go back today or tomorrow. I hate doing this though, I feel like such a whinging weak bastard if, it wasn't for the kids I would just walk away from this shower of sh1t.

Now i wont make an opinion on your case as None of us on here should know about it... But,, As u say.. U dont want to let to much out of the bag until the case is over... Lets hope the Person.. Making the claims realises the stress and wrong doing thats going .. WE HOPE.. AND stops this ...

B*****ds!- always the same chapter , same story with these strategic suspensions and union bashing dismissals , that would be struck out and costs awarded against RM in a Tribunal .

Another vague and obscure complaint purely to impress Senior Mangers or more likely on their orders & another classic fit up . It's taken that long as RM haven't got a case or they'll have widen the net for something even more vague if RM's hand is forced .

I'm sure these cases are deliberately strung out to avoid Tribunals as I understand there's a three month qualifying time as RM could be taken for detriment against legitimate TU activity .

Don't go down to their surreal level , RM are the problem

.The other charge is get rid of someone and to back up their weak flimsy case , they tried that on with someone who was off with depression , so RM tried a trumped up wilful delay complaint . His Union told him not to cooperate and not fall for all this discipline by post rubbish . Spivs and Conmen in a moral vacuum , this macho nonsense went out in the 80's /early nineties . Backward Shower .

The price of everything and the value of nothing , can't manage or run things so the answer is childish politicking, these people couldn't lie straight asleep in bed .

At least you'll have a record of complaint against RM if you do ring them and that will be good evidence to use against them later, the second charge is to soften you up in the hope you won't give them any problems later as they've had a few in the past with their dodgy fitups .

Thing is you're on here and been to ATOS which is what these cretins who've never left the playground don't want .

Thanks for the advice again lads, I've spoken to ATOS Help and they have helped me get ready for my meeting tomorrow about the most recent suspension.
Also they have eased my mind about the B&H I'm getting and how to deal with it through the B&H helpline. If I get though tomorrow without getting the sack I have a positive approach to taken to stop the harassment I'm getting from a certain individual.
At least there may be some light at the end of the tunnel for me.
