Rounds in my office with D2D's not being done
COM only interested in clear frames
Told me not to do the 5 this week if it means getting out earlier.
I told him I have got another 5 next week and how are they going to fit in the frame , or does he want me to leave them again
Loads are scattered about in our office, week old stuff absolute carnage, posties on ours basically put the mail before them until told otherwise, simply not enough time to do both.
Important under normal circumstances there is a NO Returns process.
• Items that are remaining can only be classed as surplus once every eligible delivery point has been delivered to, or if authorisation is approved by your manager and the D2D Admin Team
• If at the end of the week there are undelivered items, these must be delivered the following week (prior arrangement must be made with your line manager)
• If a walk receives excessive or insufficient D2D volumes on a regular basis, report to the person in charge to ensure accuracy of Route Manager and the provision of a new Walk Log
Door to Door volumes and any undelivered and returned numbers should be entered using DODR as part of your End of Week DODR reporting process.
As with all DODR submissions, you will have 5 days to make an amendment to an incorrect submission.
Undelivered items
Plants should ensure local weekly checks are completed of D2D items received from Delivery Offices (recent changes to the Standard Operating Procedures clearly state there should be no returns under normal circumstances) Examples of non-compliant undelivered returns/excessive amounts etc should be recorded and reported in pipeline groups.
Delivery Offices should no longer input Door to Door weekly performance submissions to the 'Door to Door Undelivered Sharepoint Site'. All submissions made by Delivery Offices should now be made as part of the DODR End of Day Report on Saturday each week.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. My BFF Clash The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
Problem is the office favourite who do the day off cover refuse to do D2D's
I always plonk them on the COM's desk and tell him that they weren't done on my day off as why should the duty holder do them.
