It's the usual some progress has been made, but talks will continue. I think talks will continue until CWU actually say enough messing around and announce the strikes. Trouble is, RM keep offering them some fake glimmer of hope. Also, is there any point in striking in July or August? Millions of people on holiday and its close to the autumn pressure period where it would be more effective. In short, April will feature little to no IA, July and August would be ineffective and also i predict these months will be used for (pointless) talks, before the 3rd ballot, which leaves us with just May and June

True, but we didn't really know what we were really up against. It's only when they didn't blink at the (lacklustre) strikes is when we knew the only thing was one week or two weeks all out. Also I am thinking about people's finances....people can't afford to strike all year round and as this ballot is going to be ineffective....the 3rd one will give us renewed bargaining power. Not saying it'll work, but we don't have many options. In the end, RM have to make a choice, an acceptable deal both ways, or Administration. I'm not qualified enough to say what would be better for RM, but I feel as they they want the latter

Well according to Ricky Mcauly on RM workplace it's the strikes that have caused this financial disaster in RM. Nothing to do with mismanagement, poor planning or any senior figure in RM. All down to the greedy posties and the CWU.

It’s easy to blame the strikes and other factors like they said at the parliament committee not my fault guv strikes have impacted the fiancés but that’s one of the reasons for striking it’s also there fault could have been sorted with 5 or 6% last April but we would probably be facing the same dilemma now so probably no better off unless u count monetary
