Vote ?

Post by enzio1272 »

Just a question no right or wrong answer just curious to know peoples thoughts on it.

As we are still in talks right now, will we see whatever the deal is in the end ?
Would there be a vote on it or could it possibly get thrown out by the union without us voting or knowing?

There would normally be a vote and should be a vote but these days who knows how it will pan out

As for union throwing it out without a vote - thats not a deal then is it? Thats just a proposal the union arent agreeing is acceptable.
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Are we still in talks?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

how can you have talks with people who put out a joint statement alongside you, but go wholly against that statement in the days and weeks following it.

it's strike time.

The talks will continue till Wednesday. I think Dave mentioned in the last video that the company have till then to decide if they want to play ball or be b******s and destroy the workforce, which there already doing.

If you can't support the workers then you don't deserve to run a business and that's not just Royal Mail.

I thought he said the PEC are meeting on Tuesday to decide on whether to announce strike action?

That would mean there is no agreed proposal. So the union executive would not put anything forward to us for our approval.

Forget about the administration rumours, spread by management btw .

The frustrating thing for us Posties is that we no next to nothing about the "talks" because the executive are telling us nothing about what is being discussed.

Management however are leaking like a tap... Drip ,drip , drip.

Don't be fooled by even more lies from Messer's Thompson n Williams.

Hard to practice patience, but we must.

I don't see what lies they've told anyone, everything they have said so far has pretty much happened. Only thing that hasn't happened so far at least in out office is later starts and summer/winter hour changes. The CWU on the other hand....... And if the talks are confidential, which i'm sure they will be why to you expect to har anything about what's being said? It isn't just RM in there on their own talking so why aren't the CWU saying anything either?
