Lad in our office took his weeks holiday , his duty never went out for the week . We are not a small office , 120 at least .in 35 years of service I've never ever seen that. Changes are an absolute shambles ...

I had my long weekend last week, 4 days off, came back to all of it piled up, nobody was put on it and I do not do overtime, so I am still 4 days behind.
What a wonderful company we work for.
30 year man myself, and never thought I would see the way the public and ourselves are treated with such contempt.

Have a guy at our place suspended for willful delay. He put a few letters back into the system because he was fed up of arguing with his Dom every morning about being unable to finish his delivery and was cutting off.

It's a frigging joke what is happening everyday at RM and the moment whilst Thompson swears on oath that none of this is going on.

Happened to me several times over the last few it's not a new thing! I catch up eventually! Same with my day off now. Often it just get's left. It's punishment for trying to have a life away from RM!

Ofcom being the government regulator has done SFA with administering Royal Mail for over a decade and allowed the service to be run down.

Ask yourself why?

We're up against the same sort of people, if not the same people behind the scenes that the sub postmasters were/are. It's quite easy to fall into the realm of conspiracy ,but just because it's a theory dosnt mean it ain't true. These people arnt right in the head.

I've only been in for half that, yet almost every day I find myself exclaiming 'it never used to be like this'. The days when you'd be pulled up for missing a letter on the bottom row have given way to lapsed walks sitting for three days, your duty not going out on your day off because the floater quit six months ago, bringing two loops back because you need to clear the Tracked for the last hour. And yet somehow management haven't all had nervous breakdowns, which implies to me that there is absolutely no pressure from above to resume fulfilling the USO.
The machine stops.

It does make you wonder, we are not able to fulfil our delivery obligations because we have too much to deliver, but we need to reduce the USO because there is a drastic reduction in what we deliver
