I'm considering IHR but my DOM has told me if I go down this line there is no going back and I will have to accept the offer How can you accept if you don't know exactly what's offered?

Not true ask him for figures. Depending on length of service I believe its 34 weeks pay untaxed. Then 12 weeks taxed

It also entitled you up to 12 weeks Pay in Lieu of Notice depending on length of service and any outstanding holiday entitlement. These will also be subject to tax and national insurance deductions

Occupational health would normally make decision wether your fit enough to return to work now or in the near future otherwise you would probably get I’ll health retirement on the terms above.
