I'm on A/l and been told our dm is handing out family friendly job registration forms, or something very similar, has anyone else heard of this or know what they look like, what's on them etc?
The start times in office are changing and obviously have an effect on school run times etc so badly affected unfortunately
Thanks in advance

Re: Family friendly jobs registration forms?
Is this them going on a fishing expedition to find out how many people they can force later starts on?
I hear that they’re having trouble attracting enough people to apply for the new parcel jobs, can’t imagine why, so perhaps they are testing the water by finding out just how many do not want later starts and later finishing.

I don't know if the business have their own form but as managers never seem to be able to find one ,this is what we use ,sardonicus wrote: ↑18 Feb 2023, 17:40I'm on A/l and been told our dm is handing out family friendly job registration forms, or something very similar, has anyone else heard of this or know what they look like, what's on them etc?

If later start times are introduced (say 2 hours) could our Managers receive an avalanche of these application forms from staff attempting to retain the existing start times.
If one request is approved - they might all get approved ?

Re: Family friendly jobs registration forms?
how would that work if you have a van share partner one comes in earlier than another.and the office wouldn't run efficiently if you have say 5 coming earlier.. especially if the work has been sitting there for 2 hours without being sorted.if that's the case everyone should come in at the same time we'll beore 7 so workers finish between around 2 and 3 o'clock .van times haven't been changed because of traffic on the roads .so there must something fishy going on
