Overtime holiday pay ?

Post by dembz90 »

Does anyone know when this is paid again? I thought it was every 6 months. Is it whenever you take annual leave it is paid? I’ve not had it since last July even though I do 20+ OT hours per week.
Not been on annual leave since then so assuming it’ll be paid when I next take a holiday?

You are correct

It is paid when you take leave, it should be in the pay on the week you are off.

Only first 4 weeks of your annual leave I believe.

I think Royal Mail have stopped paying Average Holiday Pay. They more or tore up all agreements.

Take them to ACAS & then Employment Tribunal. I know i will when I get next years holiday

I've not seen anyone else say this. Average holiday pay is only paid for the first 20 days of leave. It is nearly the end of the leave year so it is more likely that all 20 days have been taken, and that would be why it is not being paid. The entitlement will have been used up.
