Annual leave deductions for strike days

Post by chickenwittle »

Just checked my annual leave on the app and I’ve had 12 hours deducted for the strikes , anyone else had this done yet ? What a great company we work for and how do we even know they’ve deducted the correct amount.

And RM want its employees to vote ‘no’ for strike action !
Really adds insult to injury.

Whoaaa, bit obvious, annual leave isn't accrued against unpaid day. They even sent notifications out to that effect.
You could work it out to make sure the deduction is correct and if you cant then no wonder your a postman.

Hello, how does it show in the app that leave has been reduced due to strike days? Thanks

if you had annual leave to cover the deduction then it was taken from this year else it comes out of next years allocation.

Ta for that, so will these reductions come off this year's remaining leave?

Yeah I had a certain amount of hours from this years leave still to take and I saw today that was reduced by 12 hours. If you had no spare hours left from this year they would have deducted it from next years entitlement.
