been others on the committee but weren't shown on the short CWU videos):

Thanks for that, I will share those email addresses on various whatsapp groups, can't hurt to email them and tell them our experiences are different and that ST has lied to the commitee!
"Never have I known an employee so keen to employ you, then so eager to get rid of you!"
However, I don't understand why they have to say they did not prioritise or not prioritising parcels over letters... What could the MPs or OFCOM do about it?
The select committee were overly aggressive and disrespectful but judging by the previous sitting and the committee being overly Labour or Alternative party biassed, it should be expected
On top of the fact that the CWU and the Unions are mostly pro-Labour and get bungs from Union Subs...
What will it achieve for us? More strikes and less concessions, maybe?
What exactly are the CWU fighting for now? We still do not know for sure what they have agreed and what is outstanding.
Apparently, Pay is done and dusted? And no back pay - I don't get it. A 3.5% plus £500 from last April for 18 months and then another 3% from October 2024 will have sufficed - with no loss of earnings.
By the way, we all get the £500! Because the revision will happen regardless of the Union or workers involvement - happy days, not!
I thought Dave Ward came over very well in this debate, Thompson was poor to say the least. However, I thought Chris Webb was quite unprofessional during Thompsons evidence and let the side down.
He was either on his phone, or chatting to the chap to his left, or shaking his head / laughing at Thompson's evidence, in my view he let down Dave/Andy and the CWU big time. This was all about being utterly professional and Chris Webb was anything but. This was along with sitting there in a flat cap.

i think they knew today that he's a bare faced liar, thing is though, can they do anything about that/him.
I’ve never enjoyed watching a Select Committee work on a victim so much
We must have all imagined being repeatedly told to leave letters and concentrate on delivering the Tracked parcels for at least two years previous. Group false memory obviously.
’You can't just ask customers what they want and then try to give that to them. By the time you get it built, they'll want something new.’

Good grief! Really? Honestly... That's what you took from all that?
I really do not think this committee meeting was the slam dunk people think it was. CWU will clip out moments for sure but having watched the whole thing i don't think its too bad of a look. I do think the union came across well though and thats coming from a non union member who crticizes cwu a lot.

Agreed absolutely childish. Laughing , joking , on is phone and holding up vote yes signs. Bad look

Yes, I agree with that. Thompson was being roasted and hung out to dry, there wasn't a need for Chris and his friend to do schoolboy pranks like holding up 'Vote Yes' notes behind him. Looked pretty embarrassing.
I believe i said somewhere in the dark and distant past, on this platform, that i believed eventually it would all get out into the big wide world and that our great and wonderful leader would get found out. In fact he told so many porkies i am surprised any of the MPs across from him survived the nose stabbing from Pinocchio. Simple Slyman is now outed for what he really is and all his delusional supporters on here should have a long look at themselves. Now i am not naive enough to think this is the golden ticket and hes a goner, people like him are like any parasite and take a bit of shifting but at least its a start. Hopefully the general public can now make their own minds up on what we are up against and they are the golden ticket to end this despots delusions of grandeur as the pressure from Joe Public is the catalyst for any pile on from the media and government. Who knows he might just try to rush through a agreement with the union to try and save himself which could be in our favour but i doubt it somehow, it will be a interesting next few days and weeks with a bit of hope on my part that the future could look not quite so bad at RM.

No, I watched it all, and if you read my post again before ranting off you will see that I said that Dave did well, this was confirmed by the fact that he was hardly challenged at all by any of the committee, he was asked questions and his answers were accepted - Thompson however was slated, even being warned about possibly misleading the committee!
You totally forget that perception is also a factor in these serious debates, and I stand by what I said, Chris Webb let Dave and Andy down.

One sentence isn't a rant. Your paragraph about a bloke no one knows, outside of the CWU membership, is more of a rant.
