The manager has came up with proposals for our office that are both unachievable and unrealistic within the allotted duty hours, apparently 3 duties have to be absorbed and split between the other duties despite all the duties already been over there time. The Rep has already lodged a disagreement over these proposals and it has been pushed up to area Rep and area manager but with no formal reply or meeting having taken place, however now senior managers are trying to say that the COM has to push ahead and empliment his proposals despite the disagreement been lodged over them.
What is the point of the IR framework if managers are still bringing in their changes without agreement, is this not executive action?
Do they not need to give 28 days formal notification - as they are rushing them through and want them in within 2 weeks?
Is the position of Rep now meaningless as managers are doing what they want regardless?
Was there not a joint statement over the revisions only a couple of days ago if so why are Royal Mail ignoring it?
What are the CWU doing regarding all this executive action especially when disagreements have been lodged through the IR framework?
How do we stop this action?

In the NE region RM are looking at removing about 900 walks. It looks like the much higher up are going through the actuals data everywhere and ordering COMs to absorb walks/remove hours based on the actuals data.

The unit reps were invited to be part of revision discussions back in October which the cwu unilaterally refused. The business view is they had no interest back then so why should they be involved now….this is the party line I believe

With Royal Mail and the CWU, it is all smoke and mirrors
It is all talk, and yet more talk, yet Royal Mail is implementing policy by executive action.
Later start times. Revisions and SISO, etc.
We can always go on strike with industrial action to fight executive action

Re: Disagreements / IR framework pointless
Had a suprise 30mins of work added permanently onto our walk today. No talks about it, not even told by a manager we were now responsible for it.
Already can't finish on time as it is, so don't know how the extra work is justified.
Company is a joke.

From another thread it looks like every DO has had 10% of their hours removed with walks adjusted to suit

lazily stuck up sheets as if it was absorbtion, then didn't bother to explain what was happening to many of the staff.ted_e_bear wrote: ↑16 Jan 2023, 20:03Did they go the whole hog and sneakily add it to everyone's frames on Sunday ?

Re: Disagreements / IR framework pointless
Isn't the current company policy they are pushing forward with revisions but within the IR framework. Can someone break this down for me a bit clearer if they can?? Are they using PDAs or not?
