I don't think so. If anything we've had so much and more, momentum is gaining.

All moving far too slowly, the usual corbinites on here will jump to the unions defence but they’re out of their depth, any deal is gonna be nowhere near what was sold….do your own thing cos the guy next to you in the workplace will f**k you over in a heartbeat….I’ll personally continue to observe strike days but won’t be standing out like a Wally with a brolly any longer

I thought one of the first things they needed to discuss is the guidelines for the revisions.
They will need to communicate that (or the lack of agreement) pretty quickly.
Either the reps are to engage with the revision process or they are not. Simon says they will be going ahead with or without agreement.
If they can't agree on that. what is the point of carrying on the talks?

With the almost daily attacks by RM on our terms and conditions, 4/5 days a week we have floor meetings to tell us about the latest diktat from above, feeling in my office in support of the strikes is still solid.

If RM want to undermine our “appetite” to keep striking, I’d suggest they stop needling us

The Divisional Reps are meeting the ROD on Friday to agree terms for our participation in any revision activity or duty changes. No discussion with RM at local level are to take place until we have agreed a way forward. National parties are attempting to draft a terms of agreement. We need every Rep to abide by this.

I concur with you. Apparently, Royal Mail is thinking about rescinding its last improved pay offer of 9% because it incurred over £600 million of losses through the strike over the X-mas and new year. The business can no longer afford it. So it's likely to be revised down to less than 6%. They also canceled the dividend. So this has also affected the shareholders. That's not all. Royal Mail is likely to bulldoze through the changes they want without blessings from the Union. Because they know getting the union onboard is not just a waste of time but also impossible. With Xmas and new year out of the way, the table has turned in their favor so there is very little the union can do.
