Aaron barnes on how it affects us at PWF

Post by PFdriver488 »

Found this on workplace, doesn’t seem to have gotten many views but worth a watch on how it actually affects our part of the dispute…was this stickied at the top for us, I was out sick last week so wasn’t on workplace?

Seems like he should have made this video months ago tbh, can we believe him? Does he even have any power in regards to ST decisions, I dunno what to believe tbh…the age of information and dis information is f-ing nuts!

Sorry about the video format I had to screen record to get it and then upload here, there’s probably a better way lol

He talks absolute nonsense and has no real power he does what simon tells him too .
A year ago in the courier magazine he said he wanted to get rid of owner drivers yet now they want to increase them .
Now he wants drivers to work there full hours which in most cases would be 10 hours a day or even 11 in some cases which is what routes are planned too .
The reason drivers work so hard is to get finished and go home a little earlier if they have to do there full hours they will just slow down so in effect no more work gets done anyway .
Simon is intent on slave Labour owner drivers anyway so all of us will be out of a job soon .

It will be interesting to see what happens in the new year.
The arse is going to fall out of deliveries so what will they do. Previously at our depot OD’s were not allowed to leave before PFW drivers had enough work for the day.
Now with the emphasis being on OD’s what do they expect PFW drivers to deliver.
Strange times.
