Got told this morning NOW you can work your day off, deliver parcels at the end of your shift, extend your delivery, and even sort mail.
Just last month they were banging on about how we don't have any money, so the budget is pretty much zero. Till now it's open docket and you can have as much overtime as you want.
Let's face it I think every office is on the brink of bursting and this is the reason for them opening up the docket. I won't be helping them out, but the ot will be short lived and I hope xmas fails big time after Simon & Co can't come up with a resolution.

Re: Open season.
I have to agree, they docked 20mins on extended OT , 5 weeks ago, and then told me I would only get 5 hrs working my rest day.Duesouth wrote: ↑13 Dec 2022, 16:20Got told this morning NOW you can work your day off, deliver parcels at the end of your shift, extend your delivery, and even sort mail.

Now they are desperate and expect us to cut our own throat s by doing the OT.
Sorry Simon , you started the fire, all we wanted was to keep pace with inflation and have sensible change.
You have lost trust and faith and goodwill for good.
It is going to take someone new a long time to rebuild this.
A pity, turning a 500 year success story into a disaster!!!

Think there still has to be a responsibility with the company to provide tools for the job. All vans should be checked by a TRAINED mechanic weekly regardless of a pmt form

So nice of them to let you do the extra now that it’s sub zero and dark out.

Wow. I don't know what hatred means but I'm gaining experience. It shudders and shakes your core. Am I getting close???
