Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. "Updating our members before tomorrows strike action" doesn't sound too promising in the way of "updates."

Put your messages in the comments, show them how strong you are, fight of our lives etc etc... Be nice to see them looking a bit animated for once instead of staring at the screens as though they're watching snuff movies of their childhood pets

If there’s been no progress then I would hope they will be announcing a couple of days between Xmas and new year, keep turning the screw. Deep down I know it’s pointless and we have lost but may aswell cause as much mayhem on our way to defeat.

I had a dream last night, my missus was involved, but Andy Furey kept popping up and telling me to “go again” and “thrash out a deal”

A smart ploy seeing that the snow is so widespread and the amount of mail brought back today would be to call off the next two days ,leaving money in the members pockets yet the mail won't be moving anywhere .Then the union could say we are trying to save Christmas but Thompson wong meet ,more pressure but of course we will have the same old same old, yet they don't care in the past ceo s and the board did but this lot do not care anyhow every9nr have a good night

That's true that 2 day doesn't change anything. If company doesn't want to make deale strikes doesn't finish after xmas

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Now don't get me wrong but the strikes are having an impact, but by how much? :cuppa

I'll support the union but they need to come up with better tactics which I think might be too late. They should of taken strike action for Thu Fri this week then Mon, Tue the next and even the 2 days that are planned for the 23rd & 24th. Giving them no way of clearing any backlog.
