Todays strike.
What was the point. I had forgotten it was even a strike day as there was next to no media coverage, surely yesterday would have been a better choice as delivery would’ve been out.

Re: Todays strike.
I think the point was that hardly anything would get processed today plus it would affect the all important Sunday parcels.
(I'm assuming mail/parcels/anything gets processed Sundays I've no idea how mail centres operate)

No idea and I’ll doubt if anyone remembers to work to rule in the morning NO OT

Sunday Parcels, Sunday Special Deliveries and processing all affected. DW said on the live the other day, weekend staff have been largely unaffected by the stirkes so a chance for them to lose a days money. instead of the rest of us all the time.

I'm sure it wasn't worded like that.Surreypostie wrote: ↑11 Dec 2022, 14:53Sunday Parcels, Sunday Special Deliveries and processing all affected. Re: Todays strike.
I think it was an opportunity for Sunday workers to take the hit of one of the 2 planned strike days.
Not much will have moved through the system today, which is probably handy for our management team as we'll be expected to clear a lot of Saturday's letters we left in tomorrow due to the non arrivals.
Bit of a non event.

Need a lot more joined up thinking to get this lot to budge .all it has done is allow us to catch up tomorrow on the backlog from the previous days .For me the way to go is to get a corporate sue going ,mental cruelty hardship ,depression due to the ceo posting all the time at all hours saying this and that threats bullying and harrasmehts .

Re: Todays strike.
Why does the strike end at 8pm ?
I assume some staff do night shift...what was point finishing the strike at that time ?
