Welcome notification of called off PFSL strike action Monday 5 December
We have received the welcomed notification from CWU that they will be calling off planned strike action in PFSL on Monday 5 December 2022. As a result, the next strike action is expected to take place on Thursday 15 December 2022.
In light of this, Monday 5 December 2022 will be a normal working day in PFSL and as such individuals should attend work as usual. We understand that some people may be unable to attend work at short notice and we would ask that these individuals speak to their line manager as a matter of urgency. Where we are made aware in advance of individual circumstances that prevent people attending work no disciplinary action will be taken, but it will be treated as unpaid leave.
Please communicate this to your teams as a matter of urgency.
If you have any questions, please reach out to your Senior Lead or a member of the HR Team.
*You may have received a communication from Royal Mail this morning regarding the Industrial Action in PFSL – this has been sent in error please disregard this.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Dear Colleagues,
ROYAL MAIL PROPERTY & FACILITIES SOLUTIONS – DISPUTE ON PAY AND ASSOCIATED ISSUES
Branches will be aware of the notified industrial action due to take place on Monday the 5th December for RMPFSL Members.
The Postal Executive have taken the decision to stand down the action on the 5th December and to notify the Business of our intention to take action on 15th December 2022.
The notice served on RMPFSL today is for All duties which start at or after 04.00 hrs. Thursday 15th December 2022 and before 04.00 hrs. Friday 16th December 2022
It is vital we now communicate further with our Reps, Branches and members to ensure everyone is aware of the action being stood down as well as ensuring everyone is fully prepared for the strike action on the 15thDecember.
Detailed communications in relation the PFSL Dispute will be issued to Representatives and Branches in due course.
