Nice idea and I fully agree.....but you know it won't happen, people will have probably been asked to come in early and will work late to make up for lost money, negating much of what they were striking for yesterday and day before. I would rather have a person be honest about breaking a strike than a militant who works their days off to make up the money.

You might as well talk to a wall. What other company has workers working for free? I really can’t get my head around it. Even after all this they still come in early rush round to get back and say I’m knackered and wait to clock off.

As long as say 20 percent do this then it will cause problems. Can’t wait until tomorrow when management put agency guy with us again and we come back having completed 1 walk only

I’ll be starting on my time, taking my full break, van checks etc etc, walking around at a nice steady pace that suits me and catching up with my customers. I will be completely milking the docket at the end of the duty and making them pay for my time. If you or any others don’t like me doing that ……tough! I’m not telling anyone else to do that, they can do what they want and what suits them. I don’t welcome people on here telling me what I will or won’t be doing tomorrow! We moan about bullying from the Board and managers and yet plenty on here and in the office think nothing of doing exactly the same by way of “do it my way or you’re a w****r”

Whatever does or doesn’t get cleared in a DO tomorrow will only be a tiny fraction of what’s in the system. The blockage will now not clear this side of Christmas,

We always have the same problem the day after strikes where, because everything is already there since the last mail centre shift, the docket kings are all in 3 or 4 hours early. That means that everything is usually sorted really early leading to managers rushing people out the door early. If you end up with 6 hours to deliver instead of 4 hours, cutting off doesn’t often come into the equation.

I plan on having a very easy stress free day tomorrow. Not much chance of that for the managers though, but they are paid to get stressed.
