There is a video on workplace, but I don't have the time at the mo to copy it yet, if you want to the link is here...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: RMCtv : Ricky McAulay : 10,000 colleagues across Royal Mail and Parcelforce now attending work on strike days
About an hour ago I had a knock at the door, a guy in full RM uniform bringing me a tracked packet.
Never seen him before.
I resisted him the urge to sarcastically ask him how the strike was going and just sort of went "Yeah, thanks" and closed the door.
Hope it was worth it for him.

Well 10% of the workforce is a real win for RM I don’t think people voted no and there’s new entrants and casuals so I’m guessing everything’s rosy now let’s see what happens tomorrow

My maths were never that great, but doesn't that mean that 90% are out on strike?

So there is around 1200 delivery offices if memory serves me right. So around 8 staff per office are turning up, and that’s not including any processing staff in Mail centres etc so I’m being very generous with the 8 per office.
With those numbers I’m positive I’ll walk into a nice clear tidy office tomorrow

You can't just put a RM High Vis on a turn from Agency into Contractual Royal Mail staff...as ever with these deluded senior management mouthpieces they are just twisting the facts and figures to send out their propaganda. Even so a small percentage esp. the ones who have crossed the picket line. Still expecting a sh*t show when we return to work tomorrow, but the start and finish times will remain the same.

They are probably including managers in that 10,000 too. We have 4 COMS in our office andtoonshola wrote: ↑01 Dec 2022, 13:34So there is around 1200 delivery offices if memory serves me right. ,like you say, there is over 1000 offices across the country.
About 150 OPG’s in our office and as far as we know only 1 strike breaker. Support is probably stronger than ever. The more petty and threatening Royal Mail get the more determined the workforce gets.

If you can't trust Ricky and Simon who can you trust? Come on fellas, they have our best interests at heart, of that you can be certain.
