Spoke to 3 lads who together decided to go in today. All with young families and down to their last pennies. All have asked our union rep for help to be met with same "we're all in the same boat" answer. You can see the anguish they're are going through. Speaking to them it was very hard for me to feel any sort of anger towards them crossing the picket line.

Peoples savings are getting exhausted, mental health being kicked from pillar to post. You can talk about the future but for many its about the here and now.

So Royal Mail AND the CWU get this sorted, please.

Royal Mail want it sorted on their terms only. No problem with those who choose to go in but they should look for another job as they will not be able to live on what will be paid in the near future.

Interestingly we got a Tracked 24 delivered today by a Yellow viz RM van driving agency/ new starter.
So he’s me on strike earning nothing where Our replacements are raking it in.

For the record my Mother received a T48 today as well.

A strike breaker is a strike breaker!! There is no excuse, never ever cross a picket line .

Me and my wife both work for RM and I agree the financial strain is tough and causing issues but there is no excuse for going in

Yep, couple of the lads said they were going to cross the picket line this week including my van share. Says they are struggling but he and his wife both work full time and on constant trips up and down the country to festival's, music gigs, shows etc which doesn't come cheap. They don't have kids so basically crossing the picket line to fund their lifestyle. I won't treat him any differently deep down he's a lovely guy and has been on strike up until now. Think simon is hoping people will drift back

And comments like this sicken me when 3 young lads are at there wits ends and being told to basically let your family suffer and support a union that has little help or support available but want our support 100% ??? Irony?? They want your support but have no support for struggling members?

So these people that think it’s wrong would they see these lads kids suffer, starve, be homeless?? Bet the union won’t pay his rent/mortgage!!
