tracked item delivered at 5.45 am!
Wow that's amazing, we just had an item we sent out delivered before 5.45am! - going forward not much use since the AM delivery is to be abandoned though...
Top marks for effort for trying to clear the office!
I do feel though if photos are shared later of a clear office praising the staff who were working today you should also be honest and explain they were on delivery since 5 am (or before) though!

Must have had their shift start time set at 03:59 so they can’t be called silly sausages.

Not as good as it sounds. Probably the last call from yesterday’s delivery, later finishing times and all that.Paul1983 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2022, 07:37Wow that's amazing, we just had an item we sent out delivered before 5.45am! - going forward not much use since the AM delivery is to be abandoned though...

Was that on of the "direct sleeves" from the NW superhub? If it was then MC won't have touched it, the direct sleeves once they come off the artic, get wheel straight over to the relevant loading bays and straight onto the lorries to the DOs

No all lats were sorted by new staff/casuals after coming into mc and supposedly scanned in and put in correct postcode destination already broken down into postcode area just 7 selections after that surely it’s not that hard but when no training given and the ones from the previous week giving the newbies training it’s a disaster

I doubt if an item was delivered at that time.geromethegnome wrote: ↑30 Nov 2022, 09:44don’t suppose there’s any chance of picture evidence of POD?
I would guess someone pressed the wrong button and instead of "ready for delivery" they scanned "delivered".
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

That's what I thought, although surely whoever did it presumably would have scanned multiple items plus when it came to submitting them the PDA would have prompted for a photo indicating they'd f****d up.clashcityrocker wrote: ↑30 Nov 2022, 10:31I doubt if an item was delivered at that time.geromethegnome wrote: ↑30 Nov 2022, 09:44don’t suppose there’s any chance of picture evidence of POD?

Wonder if they were trialing "commit to deliver" and that was the last drop!!! LOL Think of all those banked hours!
