I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Unite, once they have finished with us they will be back for you! And let's be honest your managers have zero leverage, because who cares? who would notice if they went on strike? Thats right nobody, your short sighted.
I for one would make sure the office was cleared, cleaned and sparkling if your managers ever went on strike.

Even though what the CMA/UNITE are doing is contrary to the collective ideals of trade unionism nationwide, feel they have done nothing wrong.
They are a Trade Union acting with the best interest of its subscribing membership

Depends whether you judge it by what is morally right or legally right. It's symptomatic of a country led by a government that has no moral compass.

There has never been any affiliation between a Manager's union and a front line workers union.
They are akin to the dark side of the force and are all for their own individual gain.
They never strike, they swallow anything they are given from above and they do as they are told.
It must be a breeze for Unite, their members pay their token subs every month and seek nothing in return. Joke of a trade union.

If they went on strike it would be the only day lapsing was done! We have had enough of managers lining their pockets out of our strikes with bonuses for this £1000 for that.kazardaimenu wrote: ↑30 Nov 2022, 07:34But who would print spreadsheets and allocate lapsingChitchat wrote: ↑29 Nov 2022, 18:52Unite, once they have finished with us they will be back for you! When 25000 posties are made redundant in March, do Unite think they are going to need all those managers? Such shortsightedness.
