Facebook post from a former manager
Supposed to be getting a parcel via Evri yesterday (not my choice of carrier). Apparently they couldn't deliver due to the "bad weather in my area"
No doubt some of this in the picure will be what they've dumped back into the Royal Mail system. Its about time the public knew what was really going on in Royal Mail and the state some of the Mail Centres and Delivery Offices will currently be in going into the busy Xmas Period. This mess is created and driven by Senior Management alone in their race to rip apart a national institution, a unique postal service and a service that is provided to the British Public no matter what the f***ing weather is. A Senior Management Team that is focused on providing a service to its shareholders rather than the people it employees. And before anybody rips into me for being a Manager in the past the one thing I had in common with some of the finest people I've ever worked with was no matter what our differences were the vast majority cared about what we did and the service we provided to our customers. Nobody deserves to be in " a race to the bottom" which is where the Royal Mail is currently heading. Nobody wants to be on strike, certainly not in this countries current climate and also in the run up to Xmas when millions upon millions of items should be making their way to Customers, Families, Kids and even Santa himself. A once proud Industry is being ripped apart in the lust of greed by people who have no concept of what Royal Mail actually is and what it actually does. A unique island postal pervice which provides a unique public service to its customer which now has to provide a quick and cheap buck to faceless shareholders in working conditions that the CEO and his cronies would have them harking back to Victorian times !!!!

Fair play to him.
Encapsulates how we all feel about Royal Mail and the strength of feeling we all have about doing our jobs for the public and it all being ripped apart for personal greed and cash.
But hey, the guy who has been here for 18 f***ing months and will be off at the first chance he gets knows better.
“Own the doorstep”
Yeah Thompson, but only three times a week and if they get enough parcels for it to be worth your while you utter prick.

Good to hear this guy speak up now.
We all knew that our managers were suffering too. But not these new ones
These are Thompson twins.
