Adds for temporary angard agency postperson are saying £13.37/hr which is pretty much the same rate as our basic plus delivery supplement.
This is not about the money, its about the flexibility issue and pensions, sick, other allowances and start and finish times for Simon and royal mail.

Basic starting rate is £9.50. At Xmas (Nov-early Jan) it’s £11.99. Until you do 12 weeks to get AWR those are the day shift rates. Then it’s £12 something in my area. So it sucks if newbs are getting more.

We are overpaid at £13 odd quid an hour for delivering mail. Yet Simon gets £370 odd quid an hour to take a profitable company and Turn it into a loss making company. I'm sorry who's overpaid exactly?
