RMCtv : The improvements we have made in our "best and final" offer : FOR DELIVERY COLLEAGUES
As you'll have seen, we have presented the CWU with our 'best and final' offer. It includes a significant number of improvements.
To make it easy to see the details of the offer and the improvements we have made, here is a table which shows the changes from our original offer to this best and final version*.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Yeah, that’s still a no from me. The use of “where possible” means “not a chance” and “phased in” means it’s still happening. Later starts will come in with our revision which is imminent and will mean we WILL be starting 3 hours later in a few months, not 3 years.

Original offer: you'll all get smacked over the head with a shovel 10 times a day
Best and final offer: you'll only get smacked over the head with a shovel 9 times a day

What’s the profit share scheme supposed to be about- no details at all. No doubt another bribe!

Anyone got the list of proposed office start time changes? It was on here a few months back.

Delivery offices weren’t all 3 hours
Sick pay was always first absence unchanged and applying to second absence
Vol. redundancy included 6k before this final offer was made.
Reads like trying to fluff up a sparse CV to be honest.

He also forgot to mention he wants to keep agency workers on the books while he makes current royal mail staff redundant, also no compulsory redundancies up until march 2023 4 months away he thinks that is a fair deal also the company can choose who goes without any say from the union as i pointed out this morning on the picket line you will have zero job security going forward if this joke of an agreement was to be signed off, nobody wants to strike and lose money, would you prefer to come into work every week not knowing if you will be targeted for a pay off. why is it simon will not appear on the TV and promote this final offer of this ground breaking agreement putting his current workforce at the forefront of all the changes and explaining to everybody his and the boards dismal performance handling the record profits we earned through the pandemic why would they buy back 200 million pounds worth of their own shares at premium price when they were planning to absolutely TRY and decimate our pay term and conditions knowing full well the share price would plummet, if anybody knows the answer could they please explain this to me.

Just one question why, is it just for Delivery colleagues surely later starts will be necessary in Mail Centres both for Processing Staff and Distribution as there will be no one in Delivery Offices to receive the work.
