Later starts (a question)

Post by Kenfandango »

So we got the letters from RM detailing the changes to our depot, and I was just wondering what sort of start/finish times (and it specifically mentioned there would be finish times) everyone on here was offered (vaguely, as I know we don't want to put our heads too far above the parapet.) I mentioned in another post that it didn't seem too bad... but then our depot would only be starting within half an hour later than we already are, and I'm aware that is not the case all over.
So... How much later would you all be starting?

Surely if the CWU think it's such a s**t deal, then the members could return a resounding no vote? After reading it, it really looks like a steaming pile of s**t but do the CWU not trust their members to vote no to it?

You do know this isn’t a game don’t you??? FFS you want extra dates put in just so you can have extra time off at Christmas. What about those who can’t afford it? Talk about selfish - just about sums up some on here!!

What you’ve shown is that you’re not interested in the dispute and a resolution, just getting more and more time off and to hell with others.

I’ve spent months telling anyone who’ll listen that nobody wants to strike and we do it as a last resort, then we get a berk on here pleading for more dates so they can laze around!

The later start times will be determined by any changes to arrivals at inward MCs. If the work arrives at the inward MC say 2 hours later then it'll be processed 2 hours later and go out to the DOs 2 hours later, but probably arrive at the DOs 3 hours later from the lorries getting caught in traffic
