Obvious question

How can you ask for a Rule 13 Ballot locally whe there is a national ballot already in place with compulsory redundancies and terms and conditions??

Does not compute

When we balloted there was no threat/announcement of compulsory redundancies

That happened deeper into the dispute

Well ST has gone on record no -compulsory redundancies until 31 March 2023 in his last offer to the CWU

An offer the CWU has now rejected

So, RM have said there are too many wanting VR compared to how many they want rid of, and they are talking about compulsory redundancy (still with acociated costs) ? That doesn't make sense.

Just my opinion - compulsory redundancies are the cake and all those wanting VR, the icing - the more that leave, the more they can replace with new fodder on inferior terms ...

Is it legal to replace compulsory redundancies with other workers
Surely the reason for redundancies was the jobs were no longer there or viable
Take the bastards to court
