Can anyone tell if the delivery supplement is one of the payments that Royal Mail want to stop paying us ?

ATM, no, it's not one they want to remove, but this is RM, so anything is possible in the future.

They’re not removing it for existing employees at the moment, but they have removed it for newcomers- under the eyes of the union who appear to be powerless to do anything about it, rather like the redundancy situation.

Can anyone tell if the delivery supplement is one of the payments that Royal Mail want to stop paying us ?

They've indicated that they want to add it to our standard pay and so remove it as a supplement/allowance. I'm a bit surprised that they haven't just said they want to buy it out, as adding it to your wages means it increases with each annual pay rise, will become pensionable and, I assume will lead to an increase overtime rate.
