I’m 39 got over 19 years service and there is plenty of employment where I live. It’s a no brainer for me.

You’re right to old to start fresh and the offer won’t be good enough to retire on. I doubt I will be getting paid off anyway.

It's going to be old men and women on delivery as none off them can afford to take this package and young ones will not take the terms and pay they are offering as there's better jobs and pay out there in stead off walking about in the cold off winter

Yeah same as me , mid 50s 30+ years in , not walking away for reduced sum to look for another job at my age and I assume most feel the same , let the youngsters snap it up .

Shot themselves in the foot could of had a new workforce in now we start digging in for the battle and hold out for retirement!
