It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I guarantee, people will cross the line, Part timers will not lose 4 days pay in one week. A lot of full timers won't.

Don’t cancel the Christmas Eve strike unless we get a top deal. Will be nice to hit the road early and see the family.

11th December is a Sunday so I presume that one doesn’t apply to delivery?

Why have they gone for a Sunday? Bizarre.
It’s not enough anyway, needed to be way more days than 6/7 in the whole of December.

Understand your point but what else was the CWU supposed to do after RM's antics today ... Think this is the unions last throw of the dice!Surreypostie wrote: ↑17 Nov 2022, 19:31I guarantee, people will cross the line, Part timers will not lose 4 days pay in one week. A lot of full timers won't.

We have weekend workers so it is important that we include them in the strike action and remember at Christmas there are more network and distribution runs out on.
