Job losses per office

Post by KnowItAll »

Expect to start hearing this from early next week. CWU reps being informed. This is moving lightning fast, in the meantime it's 3 weeks before strikes.

At this rate the restructure will be complete before the next walkout!

Never keen to divulge sources. You've heard people on here saying they've been told to remove hundreds of hours in offices. Those hours are now translating to jobs fairly directly.

Fair enough. Small office for us and we've been told 100+hrs need to go. So I guess that's what's going to happen then. Lose/lapse 3 rounds and those 3 staff too. Just before Xmas....nice!

Won't happen this side of xmas. Once we're over peak, changes will happen fast. Think RM are just getting this done to show they weren't kidding about job losses.

Royal Mail said this was to start in February and be concluded by August. I suppose they could have it all in place before though.

He is right though. We have been told up here that the finishing touches are being put in place now and it will all go live middle of Jan.

They've been a member since 2009 , don't even think Simon would have had the foresight to become a member of the site for future posts
