Futher strike dates announced by CWU
The CWU have tonight announced four additional strikes dates on Thursday 24th November, Friday 25th November, Wednesday 30th November and Thursday 1st December..
They have cancelled strike dates for Saturday 12th November and Monday 14th November.
This follows yesterday's new pay-for-change offer to the CWU worth 9% over two years. The CWU have been in talks with us at Acas and we urge them to withdraw these strikes, for the good of our people and our customers.
As always, we will deploy our contingency plans and do all we can to minimise delays and keep people, businesses and the country connected.

Should have called 26th, 28th, 29th and 30th. That way from Black Friday little would move until the next Thursday. Striking the day before Black Friday seems particularly pointless.

The second one should say 2nd December and it isn't 48 hours as it's Wednesday and a Friday so 2 24hr strikes?

Martin, even Royal Mail seem confused now. They think we’re out on Wednesday 30th November and separately on Friday 2nd December, implying we are at work on Thursday 1st December. Can you send them a letter about it. Preferably posted the day before the strike
