Read between the lines, Royal Mail did not tell CWU that some functions have moved, so in 3 offices, they got the function wrong, do not turn on your union, they are your best chance of getting this dispute won.

It is what it is and ultimately makes no difference. Whining about it only makes ST stronger, divide and conquer.

No its not union fuked up but wont admit they did. Would be so much easier if they at least held their hands up an said sorry but no blame everyone else except themselves.

So that'll be all ST's wanted changes brought in by executive action between now and the 12th of November?

Whether we win this dispute or not the CWU really needs to have a long hard look at itself. They have made these mistakes before in previous disputes and now they have done it again. It won’t make or break anything but my confidence in them is draining with every blunder.

No it hasn’t the strike days have made RM to impose the OT ban
in less than a week it’s caused backlogs and mail being delivered every 2 days in some places

If there are backlogs of mail why oh why are Royal Mail having an overtime ban? Are they stupid? (Ok, silly question), they are just doing what the CWU didn't and should have. It's going to have a larger effect than any one day strike. When they relent and say, okay you can do o/t again, everyone should just say no thanks, it's kinda nice getting home on time and not walking the streets in the dark.
