Is this true - Nationwide OT ban for rolling strikes weeks?

Not heard anything like that. Expect a squeeze on overtime as the company starts running low on cash though - that should be inevitable.

Same here, in fact they've already asked some if they'll work day off the week after next

That’s what we have been instructed but DOM reckons when the mail and the bodies start to pile up they’ll have it on offer again in a couple of weeks.

aye. manager txt a few people to say he'd been instructed to stop people working their days off. so, the lads/lasses decided to stop early's and extended delivery. then all of a sudden they've ''miraculously'' found some extra money to fund the overtime so they retracted the ban. but too late. we've all decided f*** em. play with fire, you get burnt.

Cutting back on the OT in our office with early morning starts but it doesn’t affect me as I don’t come in early on OT 👍

I think they mean RM banning OT rather than the CWU.

yes, it is RM, not the union. they spat their dummy out cos we are still striking during the ACAS talks, and they don't like it. they thought the CWU would suspend the strikes, they were wrong. so its 'tit for tat time.

Yeah, our manager has told us Royal Mail have stated no pressure or absence overtime Tuesday-Thursday next week & that they want us to flex 30 minutes one of those days. No chance! Obviously USO counts for nothing anymore, because we’ll all have to cut off!

Absolutely no problem at all, I haven’t done any months for months. According to our line manager all the rounds are achievable within the duty time :nana Time to test that. Hope she remembers to charge her phone because 95% of the rounds here will be phoning her early afternoon using the overrunning procedure.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Surely Tuesday will be a relatively normal day, post wise, until the effect of the strike kicks in on Wednesday?
