Can anyone help me. been given a stage one review.
Went sick on the monday 26th. we went on stike that week on friday and Saturday. On friday afternoon i txt my manager and said i feeling better and be back next scheduled working day. So came back on the tuesday as i was my long weekend. Manager gave me a attendence review saying i hit my 14th day off on that monday. seems like im being punished for having a long weekend when i would had come back on the saturday (well monday as saturday i would be on strike) So should i still be given a stage one review or should it only be i was sick for 5 days that week.

Weekends only count if you have NOT contacted them on the Friday.
The sick period ends the day you make contact.
